I describe my work as abstract art photography. I try to assess where every point of light makes its impact and decide whether it is within the natural envelope, and whether I can push the envelope to an advantage.
Sometimes I go outside the gambit of printable colour, and then I find a way to squeeze it back to somewhere near reality. When it pleases my eye, I gamble that it will please others.
