Revealing the new
When I begin a work, I never try to make a piece of art. I just try to create something which has not fully formulated in my mind. In this way I feel I am tapping into my subconscious and grasping what becomes conscious thought - original thought, useful thought.
Chaos is my friend
The chaos of this world creates endless opportunities for decisions and directions, obstacles and resolutions. In a wholly harmonious and peaceful atmosphere, I would most likely go to sleep.
My challenge is to turn my original thoughts into pleasing forms by any means necessary. Whatever the outcome, I feel I have created something new, from my deepest, perhaps darkest, self.
